I believe there is no topic more important …more significant, than salvation. After all, life on earth is but a moment in the scope of eternity. If you were to ask one hundred people how you get to heaven, you might get ninety different answers. Or more.
I say with love to my brother or sister reading this, be assured that there is but one way, which is through belief in Jesus Christ. He was born of a virgin, fulfilled his ministry on earth, and suffered and died on the cross. He shed his precious blood as payment for our sins, and then rose on the third day. And through belief in this “truth” and acceptance of Him as Savior, we may be saved and look forward to eternity with Him in the very presence of God. If you haven’t accepted Jesus as your savior, I encourage you to do so today.
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans10:9,10 (NIV)
